The Warriors started the game strong, taking a 31-22 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Kings fought back in the second quarter, outscoring the Warriors 33-29 to cut the deficit to 3 points at halftime. However, the Warriors regained control in the third quarter, outscoring the Kings 35-24 to take a 14-point lead into the fourth quarter. The Kings were unable to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors held on for the win.
With the victory, the Warriors take a 2-1 lead in the series. Game 4 will be played in Sacramento on Sunday.
