LeBron James Leads Lakers to Overtime Victory and 3-1 Series Lead Against Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 121-117 in overtime on Sunday, April 23, taking a 3-1 lead in their NBA playoff series. LeBron James led the Lakers with a triple-double, scoring 34 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 13 assists. Anthony Davis added 28 points, while Andre Drummond had 20 rebounds.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, with the Grizzlies leading by as much as 10 points in the second quarter. The Lakers rallied to take the lead in the fourth quarter, but the Grizzlies tied the game in the final seconds to force overtime. In overtime, the Lakers took control, outscoring the Grizzlies 14-10 to secure the victory.

The Lakers were without starting point guard Dennis Schroder, who was out due to COVID-19 protocols. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope started in his place and contributed 13 points. The Grizzlies were led by Ja Morant, who had 30 points and 8 assists, while Dillon Brooks added 22 points.

The Lakers will have a chance to close out the series in Game 5 on Wednesday, April 26, in Memphis.
