Duchess Kate stuns in Princess Diana’s tiara at state banquet with Prince William

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, attended a state banquet at Buckingham Palace wearing elegant attire and stunning jewelry. Kate donned a gorgeous tiara which once belonged to Princess Diana, paired with a red Jenny Packham gown. Prince William wore white tie attire and sash. The event was held in honor of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.

The royal couple were welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles upon their arrival at the palace. The banquet was attended by over 150 guests, including politicians and members of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, were not in attendance.

The tiara that Kate wore, known as the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara, was made by Garrard in 1914 and has been worn by both Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II. The tiara features pearls and diamonds, and was a wedding gift to Diana from the Queen.

Kate has worn the tiara on several occasions, including at the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace in 2018.
