Clippers suffer devastating loss as Kawhi Leonard misses game 3 against Suns due to knee injury

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard missed game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns due to a knee injury. Leonard has been dealing with the injury since the previous series against the Utah Jazz, and his status for the remainder of the playoffs remains uncertain. The Clippers were also without their star player, Paul George, for game 3 due to a sprained right ankle.

Despite missing their top two players, the Clippers were competitive early in the game and held a slim lead at halftime. However, the Suns took control in the second half and pulled away for a 106-92 victory, taking a 3-0 lead in the series. Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with 27 points, while Deandre Ayton contributed 22 points and 14 rebounds.

The Clippers will need a miraculous comeback to win the series without Leonard and George. No team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a playoff series. Game 4 will take place on June 27th, and the Clippers will need to find a way to bounce back to avoid being swept out of the playoffs.
