The US Virgin Islands has requested a subpoena to summon Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, as a potential witness in an ongoing lawsuit related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The lawsuit filed by the US Virgin Islands Attorney General alleges that Epstein engaged in unlawful sexual activity and human trafficking while he maintained a residence on the island of Little St. James.
The Attorney General’s office believes that Elon Musk may possess important information and documents related to Epstein’s activities and associations during the time Musk visited the island. Although the exact nature of Musk’s potential involvement has not been disclosed, the subpoena aims to compel him to testify under oath and provide any relevant evidence in his possession.
