McCarthy also discussed the challenges of playing a character who is primarily a CGI creation, noting that she had to rely heavily on her imagination and the direction of the film’s visual effects team to bring Ursula to life. However, she expressed excitement about the final product and the opportunity to introduce a new generation to the beloved story of “The Little Mermaid.”
