Kaylin Gillis, a 16-year-old girl from Long Island, New York, saved her neighbor’s life by performing CPR on him after he collapsed in his driveway. Kevin Monahan, a retired New York City firefighter, was working on his car when he suddenly collapsed from a heart attack.
Gillis, who had been trained in CPR at school, immediately sprang into action and began performing chest compressions and rescue breathing. She continued the life-saving technique for several minutes until emergency services arrived and took over.
